10K!10K!10K!

I ran a 10K today!! Actually I ran even longer - 7 miles!!! I was trying to get the foursquare "10K badge" but I checked my mileage at the 1/2-way point and forgot to hit "resume." OMG I was so bummed when I got home and it said I only ran 3 1/2 miles!!! I guess I just have to do it again...
I ran from my house to the Dana Point Pier and back. I crossed the new Dana Point pedestrian bridge for the first time:

I may have been delirious but this made me laugh:

Really? Boats are supposed to drive down the left side of the road?

And I also noticed this sign for the first time. Are these new or did I just not notice them before?:

Tuesday - Fake Princess!

I had a hellish schedule today - trying to fit extra kids with math tests in, etc but I did have one funny moment in my day with Henry (of course). We were at the park and there was a little girl's b-day party with a "Cinderella" there. Henry turned to me and said, "Did you see the fake Cinderella?" And his friend interrupted and said, "They're all fake, Henry. There's no real Cinderella." And Henry said, "No, SHE was a real one for Disney." Awww. Here's the imposter with her terrible wig and choker:

I LOVE SALLY!

Today's pics have nothing to do with Sally but she is so darn cute and sweet and snugly and ahhsdhnxkfughfksh i just want to bite her!!!


Aaaanyway, I went for a run today on the horse trails behind the house and went a little further than usual and it was so pretty! Look how pretty! That's my backyard. Crazy.

Jammies Til 7 FTW!!!!!!!!

So yes, I was in my jammies until 7pm today. Ask Stevie and Tedd - they witnessed it live on iPad 2 FaceTime at 6:30pm. And then sweet little McCall called me at 6:45 to invite me to her & Trent's "restaurant," Creame (pronounced "creme"). They researched the perfect menu on the internet all day and printed out menus and everything. It was, truthfully, delicious! They created a "signature cocktail" called the Tropical Jones (our little Fiji joke) which was passion fruit and pineapple juice with vodka, shaken in a martini shaker and everything - it was good! And then McCall made parmesan zucchini crisps for appetizers (she got it from the Top Chef website):

The main course was steak and ponzu-marinated chicken breast and grilled brussel sprouts, and the dessert was red velvet brownies. The kids cooked every bit of it. It was a delicious and fun night! Then everyone went to bed and Trent and I watched Real Housewives of Orange County and laughed our asses off.

Saturday Surprise!

So I went for a run today and there are GOATS by the horse stables now! 2 cute, little goats! I could hear them as I was walking down the driveway - omg so cute!!! I love them!! Here is a video of them and some pics of them and the horses along my Dramatic Driveway:

Then Kim had her driver pick me up at 4 for a surprise and we went over to her friend Scott's house on Newport Harbor. He is the developer of Crocs. Nice guy! Cool house on the water! They were hoping I'd like his friend, Brett, who was in town. He was fun but he's 52 and has a beard. A grey beard. Aaaanyway - we had a fun day! Here's me enjoying the fancy life:

Thurs April 7 - SeaWorld!!!

Had SUCH a fun day at SeaWorld with Colleen, Dave & Heidi!! They brought their good camera and got a lot of great shots but I don't have them yet...which is why I was waiting to blog, but oh well! Here are some of my iPhone shots:

We rode my favorite ride first (Journey to Atlantis) (well, actually we had beers first)! I got to ride it twice while they took turns watching the baby. It's SO fun! Here's Dave & I:

Tuesday April 5th - iPad 2 Day!

My iPad 2 arrived today!!! It's beautiful and I love it :):)! That's about it.

Oh and I'm still in love with Jason Segel. 
Oh and I went to Teavana and got some more tea and learned a lot from the girl there. You can reuse the expensive tea leaves up to 5 times!! I got a caffeine-free Coconut Roobios tea for after dinner - omg it's heaven!!!

Oh and I went for a run today and noticed how pretty the talltall palm trees that line the driveway are:

Oh and I snapped a pic of sweet Sally in her new favorite spot. There's a bird's nest right outside this window and she sat here alllll day. So sweet:

I guess there was more to today than just the iPad 2! Who knew!

Monday, April 4th - Disneyland!

Timmy stayed in the "Little Boy's Room" in the mansion last night and we woke up today and went for an exploration walk! We saw on Google Earth that there's a big water reservoir behind my backyard so we wanted to check it out. We had a lovely walk by the horse trails and discovered a fabulous new shortcut for me to get to the area where I like to walk so I don't have to go on the busy street - very exciting! We walked by the Goldsteins' house and they were getting in the car to leave for Hawaii so we chatted for a sec - fun! 

Then I went to tutor and met Timmy at Disneyland later on. It was hot and crowded so we decided to enjoy some cocktails in the Cove Bar by Ariel's Grotto before braving the crowds. And who can resist a Disneyland Magical Star Cocktail with a multicolored glow cube?!?! 

 Our friend Jason came and met us too and we always get these drinks called Eco-Tini's with him. They give you these Acai Seed bracelets when you buy one and the proceeds from the drink help save the rainforest or something. So we say that we are basically superheroes saving the world every time we drink these martinis.

Then they left to go ride Tower of Terror. But the Cove Bar was perfect seating for the new World of Color laser-water show and I really like that show, so I stayed at the bar and watched it all by myself haha. It was so good! Goosebumps! Then I met back up with them and we rode cute stuff like Small World and Snow White :)

Sunday April 3rd - Somewhat Normalcy & Wii Party

Went for a jog today and I liked this farm cat along the way - she looks like Bunny but with long hair - aww!

I enjoy playing Words With Friends to begin with but I reeeally like when I can make amusing words out of my letters. I made "TURD" the other day and today I made "SEXY." I like how it says "SammieBell played SEXY for 14 points" haha 

And then tonight I had a Wine-n-Wii gathering with Timmy and Colleen and Dave - SO much fun!!! We played You Don't Know Jack for most of the time but we ended with Just Dance 2, and seeing Dave bust out Elvis and Tina Turner moves had us all on the floor laughing - GREAT night!!

Saturday, April 2nd - Kids' Choice Awards!

The Goldsteins picked me up around 2pm and we went up to LA (USC Galen Ctr) for a day of VIP-ness for the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. Marc's sister is Jim Carrey's publicist and she gave him the seats that were for Jim and his daughter (she couldn't go). We were total VIPs! SO much fun!! We got to walk the Orange Carpet, sit on the floor seats with all of the celebs & their families and meet as many as we wanted!

 First we met Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas! He was just standing around before the show and he is SO nice!! Sweet sweet guy.

 Brandy is also super sweet!

 Pretty Paris walked by us (we were on the aisle) and she was lovely and gracious to all the screaming fans:

 Will Smith (who I have a thing for haha) and his son, Jaden, also walked right by us. Will said hi to me right after I took this pic!! :):)

 And then Jason Segel walked by and I got all nervous and turned purple and couldn't think straight. I LOVE him. I HAD to get a picture with him. My Jason Segel crush began in 2008 after watching him in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and I have since watched anything and everything he is in just to see him. There's just something about him that I love! So during the 1st commercial break I went up to his seat and said, "Jason? Can I get a picture with you, please?" And he said, "Sure!" And as he was getting up and finding somewhere to put everything he was holding I said, "You know that your head is in every single picture I've taken tonight, but I'm totally ok with it because it's YOUR head." And he said, "Well, you're very kind... oh and cute! You know what, I'll put my jacket on for this pic." And I said, "You know Forgetting Sarah Marshall is my favorite movie. And other people probably just SAY it's their favorite, but it's really my favorite. You're my favorite! I like you a lot!" And then Jodie couldn't figure out my camera and said, "Sam, how do you do this?" And then I said, "Oh I'm Sam" and he said "Well it's great to meet you!" And then I said, "Will you hug me in the pic?" And he said, "I am hugging you." And we laughed, and then she took the pic, and then the security guard yelled for everyone to take their seats. So I went back to my seat and cried. Seriously. Not sobbed, but got all teary. I REALLY like him!!! We look cute together!!!

 Aaaanyway then I could relax the rest of the show. Oh and good thing I took the pic then because after that he went to present and never came back! I am very lucky!!

Friday April 1st - I'm a Celeb AND I Feed the Homeless - no FOOLin

So here's the pic that was in the OC Register today. My name and everything haha:

 Today I baked 4 dozen lemon bars, tutored, and then took Trent and Aubrey to the Laguna Beach Homeless Shelter to make dinner for 40 homeless people.

 Trent had prepared pasta with chicken, pesto and goat cheese and Aubrey made a delightful salad

 They liked my lemon bars!

It was a really great experience! We all felt good in our hearts after tonight :)

Lady Gaga Concert Thurs, 3/31

So Robby (Sorensons' tennis coach) came to pick me up at my house at 4 then we went to go get the Sorensons. We took a few pics in their yard before we left.

 Then Robby took us all to Gulfstream in Newport Beach for dinner. It was happy hour there, and that place is already quite a scene. People were coming up to me from all over to see my costume, take pics, etc. It was fun!

 Then Robby dropped us off at the Lady Gaga concert at the Honda Center in Anaheim. Before we even got in, the OC Register asked to take my pic for the paper. And then as soon as we walked in, the Virgin Mobile people came up to me and asked me to do a photo shoot  haha.

I had ALL KINDS of people ask to get a pic with me. Like "Lauren" here. "She" was so nice!

I was seriously asked to take over 100 pics with people!

 Then while we were waiting in our seats, my text got on the big screen but I wasn't expecting it and didn't get a good pic. It says "McCall and SB r hereeeeeee!!!!"

 The concert was FABULOUS!!!

 I love Lady Gaga!!
