Retro Beather Fever

My rad iPhone retro photo app, "Hipstamatic," gave me a fun update gift today - a new, pretty, soft, rainbow-y lens! I thought I'd try it out in cute Gwen's room because her room is def photo-worthy:
That's a Bieber doll, a life-size cutout, and a Bieber calendar. And that's just one small corner of her room.

And here's her pretty Papillon, Tallulah:

Oh and PS - On Community tonight Senor Chang called Jeff "Grandma Bell" as a derogatory term for someone who still uses a landline. Hahahah!

y=mx+b and Net Neutrality

My brain is filled with middle school math formulas and debate essays this week.

Got so much done this morning! Then tutored a bunch of kids and couldn't find a good opportunity to take a photo today. But the Knoxs were last (Stevie & Tedd & Tim & I have had a few opulent Thanksgivings at their house - so nice). So I had Giulia take this one of her sisters, Gabriella (L) and Gigi (R), when they were giving me good night hugs before I tutored her:

Gabriella was in my class a few years ago and has the SWEETEST heart. She's the one I took to the Hello Kitty exhibit in LA. She wrote Shirl a letter before she met her saying, "I can't wait to meet you. I bet you're amazing because your daughter is amazing." At 6 yrs old she thought to write that! Precious! Love her!

"I'm beat from playing so much basketball today!"

I've never said that phrase in my life, but it's true. I watched the Millers today and played basketball with Henry first in his backyard, then we played some more at the park in Emerald Bay, then for like another hour back at his house. He taught me all about basketball and said I have "natural talent" haha! Love that kid!!

"Adorible"

I tutored LOTS of kids today and little Nicole Acacio (who was in my class last year) was my last one of the night. She is so sweet and shy and just precious. She made me this v-day card of a frog princess while I was working with her sister and I love it:

Sunday, Feb 6th

Still with the sweet girls today. Took Charlotte to volleyball in the morning and then took Sami and Juliette shopping at the Spectrum. I helped Sami pick out her outfit this morning. I must admit, it was pretty awesome. This is her "model pose":

We rode the giant ferris wheel at the Spectrum - it was Sami's first time - very cute. Sooooo, Stevie is scared to ride it but this (barely) 3-year-old loved it. Haha!:

I watched the Super Bowl with Stevie and Teddddd later and it was SO much fun!! Tedd was hilarious. He fumbled the snack platter while he was washing it and it was all very funny. My favorite Tedd quote of the evening was "That's what the future is going to be like. We're all going to wear light-up clothing." HAhahaha:

Saturday, Feb 5

Watched the 3 sweet girls all day - took Juliette to her sister's volleyball tournament at UC Long Beach. It was in a huuuuge pyramid-shaped gym, which was very cool, and all of the teams "tailgated" in tents outside before it:

Charlotte was awesome! Her team came in 2nd place:

We were there for 7 1/2 hours!!! Juliette and I passed some of the time playing with photo apps on my phone:

I socialize with adults too

Went to happy hour with the clique! It was a gorgeous night and it was so nice to see (from L-R) Kendra, Hillary, little Heidi in her pink Steelers jersey, Colleen, and Dave!! I love my friends!! (It was also nice to bitch about St. Margaret's and know that I don't have to go back on Monday!)
